This guitar features a solid matched select AAAA Sitka Spruce top. The back and sides are solid select AAA flamed maple with a custom sunburst finish. Gagnon guitars are finished to an absolutely flawless gloss level with the finest hand-polished lacquer. The fretboard and tailpiece are the finest ebony as is the pickguard. The body is select flamed Maple with gorgeous Maple binding. The headstock is faced in the finest African Ebony with the Gagnon marque inlaid in Mother of Pearl and Abalone. The rear of the headstock is trimmed in the same gorgeous Ebony used to face the headstock and cap the heel of the neck. The pickguard is edged in fineline Maple and bound in Maple. The tone control is a recessed thumbwheel along the edge of the pickguard. Please note highlighted photo. The fingerboard Ebony, inlaid with Abalone and Mother of Pearl and is accented in fineline Maple and bound in the same gorgeous figured Maple. The "F" holes are bound in figured Maple.
