Rivendell Guitars is a unique guitar salon.
We are a small, internet intensive guitar salon, predominantly targeting the archtop jazz guitar as our prime product offering. Occasionally we will feature exceptional flattop or other premium guitars, but only if they meet our criteria of rarity, extraordinary quality and sound.
No guitar or product will be represented by Rivendell Guitars we would not own ourselves. This may sound like hyperbole. It is not! We have rejected several guitars that did not exhibit the quality we would expect for our own instruments. If you see a guitar for sale here, we have inspected it, set it up and played it.
We pledge to offer the highest standards in honesty, dedication and care, not only to our cherished customers but also the the people who devote their lives creating the instruments we sell. We do this because we love it.
